Food was excellent and the view is amazing. Service was wonderful. This is a very nice seafood restaurant so you should expect it to be pricey. It is a great place for a special occasion. You will not be disappointed.

Crab so good it'll give you an existential crisis. On the pricier end as far as food goes on pier 39 but worth every cent and more! Staff were outstanding to say the least, they were quick to refill drinks, even quicker to remove dishes from the table side, and overall were quite friendly. Would definitely reccomend if you have the money for an amazing meal.

Here is great place of Pier 39. Normally, you don’t have to make a reservation in weekday. I recommend whole crab and cream pasta , also shrimp

The Crab House has amazing food and great service. We had the crab melt, the crab angel hair lasagna, and a pitcher of Crab House beer. Everything we had was delicious and the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the amount of crab meat in both the sandwich and the pasta. Even the garlic fries were well seasoned and perfectly crisp. I will mention that we were one of only 3 tables in the house and I believe we were there last table before they closed for Cov-id 19 so I don't know how the service is when it's busy but it was perfect when we were there. We were visiting from KC and this is going to be one of our go to places from now on when we're in town.

Amazing service! Would love to give these guys 10 stars if I could. Had a flight to catch but we wanted to try the world famous San Francisco crab, walked in and told them our situation they had us seated and plated with loads of fresh seafood within 10 mins we payed our bill and left within 35 mins.

Touristy spot. Decent food, but with so many other great choices for seafood in the city, I'd go elsewhere.

Good food but nothing special! The views are basically what you’re paying for. Still had a great time! Service was great and quick—and the little tuxedo bibs are fun. We had the calimari and the red soup. All the seafood was fresh and delicious! The soup base was tomato and basically one dimensional-coulda used some more spice or depth (which is why 4/5 stars). It was one of the only Gluten Free options for me, but it was nice that it was outlined on the menu.

I loved the view from this restaurant, you could see the outside and see the ocean and the Golden Gate Bridge. The food was amazing, I ordered Filet mignon medium rare and it came out exactly what I wanted it. It tasted great, it was juicy, and seasoned to perfection. Would go back to this restaurant.Highly Recommend to go and eat here!!

Really good crab. You can tell everything is fresh and, for the price, it should be! Nothing to complain about. If you're into shellfish you'll like this place. I found it a bit weird that there was no lobster on the menu though.

I love this place. Every time we come our bill gets crazy expensive. We order two full crab plates, one shrimp and muscles. The food is always amazing, at least for our taste. Being coming here for little over of 11 years now. Customer service is being slow and careless the last few visits. To busy or under stuff????I missed the old dark look of the restaurant, this newer look is to bright and white, to much light. I’ll be there soon. Oh, tell the kitchen stuff to turn up the music, they play some good music.

The food and view was amazing!!! Everything is cooked when ordered. The sea bass was cooked to perfection. The skin and flesh of the fish was grilled so perfectly. The seasoning on the fish 🐟 was so flavorful. Ask If there is an open table by the window, the view is worth it!!!

Good crab chowder. Crab salad had way too much garlic for me and I like garlic. Good cocktail. Sat at table with a nice view of the water. Pretty pricey for what we got.

Amazing seafood, fantastic and friendly staff, great atmosphere.Unsurprisingly, it is expensive. But you get what you pay for.The crab is doused in some butter and a little bit of garlic, very tasty albeit messy. Most people use the excess crab butter to dip the bread in.The muscles and shrimp come with butter to dip them in. The shrimp was good, but not nearly as delicious as the muscles. Very buttery and firm, not fishy or slimy at all. As someone who has never had muscles before, I highly recommend also trying the muscles (pass on the shrimp).Very pleased overall. I'm not a huge fan of cooked seafood, but I really enjoyed this place. If you are looking for seafood in SF, this is the place to go to.

We had a fabulous lunch at The Crab House, we ordered the muscle and shrimp combo and a side order of fries to share. Loads of food for two and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is great and I loved all the decorated crabs! Service was friendly, quick and efficient, this is a place worth going to at pier 39...

Deep fried crab halves with special garlic sauce served on an iron skillet. Very messy but worth it. The shrimp served on the iron skillet are also as good. We had a party of 7 at lunch on a Sunday and no wait. Dining room was full. Coke products available but are by the glass. They offer kids menu which includes fish and chips. Friendly staff. Bathrooms are relatively clean. Spaces between table to table are narrow.

My bf was feining for some crab chowder and we happened to stumble across this place. It smelled good going in and nice atmosphere that's why the 3 stars. Other than that the chowder was too chunky for our liking....we mostly got the mirepoix chunks. I would've pureed it a little more. It did have some chunks of crab meat but not enough that my bf didn't even want to finish it. For me there was really not enough depth with the chowder, and a little too much pepper.

My wife and I have been there for the second time. Our waitress and staff were all great as the first time. For the second time we ordered the same thing, Lots of crab and a medium bowl of mixed seafood soup. It was enough for two people and we ate it all. All of the food was fantastic and we will surely be back.

This place is on the West side of the pier, upstairs and at the back. We had great views of the Golden Gate Bridge, and a partial view of Alcatraz. The crab was great, and the two of us were full with the $75 size, with small fries and garlic bread. Did I say small? Yeah, but it is a 10 inch wide bowl. The bread was perfectly toasted. There isn't butter to dip the crab in, but you don't need it since the garlic does the job of keeping it moist and tasty.

OUTSTANDING ! Highly recommended. To begin, we were fortunate enough to have a water-side/window table. overlooking 5 sea lions playing on the dock outside our window. While the table seating and sea lions were fortunate, the crab was truly excellent. We ordered the "Too Two Crab" which serves 2-3 people (we were a couple). That is all the food we ordered, except for craft beer. Fortunately, we hadn't eaten lunch. and we were both hungry. Recommendation: Do not order appetizers, just order the crab and enjoy ! The crab is EXCELLENT and pricing is very reasonable. A memorable meal.........

They rely heavily on garlic when it comes to the plates I ordered.I had order the crab melt which comes with garlic fries, just way to much garlic to really appreciate all the flavors and the crab. Then I also ordered crab Alfredo it didn't have that much crab in it but was still good. Then the last thing we ordered was the crab chowder, it was good but still was alot of garlic flavoring. So if you want to keep vampires away and spend about $80 for 3 with water no sodas then go.

Me and my husband ordered the two too crab which is meant for three people. I usually hate dungeness crab but those crabs were meaty, and sweet. Their special sauce is not that special, it's the 🦀...it's like an side.

Reservations are a must. Expensive & limited parking. Wheelchair accessible. Gluten free options available. Super sweet servers. The food is delicious even for people like myself who don't frequent seafood. 10 out of 10 love their garlic fries. This place is ideal for small groups, which I'd recommend ordering the large shareable platters. They easily feed 4 people per platter. Highly recommend using public transit to avoid the hassle to get here. Not a fan of super crowded or tourist populated areas, but there are definitely a few places worth surfing the crowds to get to~ 👥🤙🏄‍♂️

Location good, nice with the bay view. Prices are to high compared with quality of the food. Service was not too impressive, I ordered a gin/tonic and got pure gin on the rocks. We had bread without ordering it and some of our beverages were forgotten. There are better crab places in town.
